Baud Group

Ryan is currently in his fourth year completing his MChem project in the Baud group. His 3rd year project involved the synthesis and characterisation of a tetrapeptide derived from the anti cancer drug Leuprolide in the first semester. In the second semester the natural product pycnanthuquinone C was studied and the first synthetic steps were carried out. Ryan is currently working on the synthesis of the scaffold for covalent inhibition of KRAS using a 2-sulfonylpyrimidine warhead.
